About Dr. Rozelle

I am a licensed acupuncturist and naturopathic doctor. I received my Masters in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. I also received a Certificate in Japanese Acupuncture Studies. I am certified as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine  (NCCAOM) and have met the certification requirements for both acupuncture and Chinese herbology.

Prior to entering acupuncture school, I received my doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Sonoran University.  I then went on to complete a family medicine residency at Sonoran University Medical Center.  I have presented at naturopathic and homeopathic conferences on the treatment of mental and neurological health conditions in children and adolescents. I am also the author of The Essential Guide to Adaptogens, a book written with the intention to help educate the public on natural treatments to help manage stress.

I believe in the body's innate healing abilities, and throughout my clinical experience I have found acupuncture and homeopathic medicine to be the most effective treatment modalities to achieve this deeper healing.  I believe in finding and treating the root cause(s) of imbalance in body, treating the body as a whole, and treating the individual.  I specialize in treating women’s medicine, pediatrics, sports medicine, and mental and neurological health conditions, but enjoy treating patients of all ages and conditions.

My Story

I initially decided to go to naturopathic medical school because I was disheartened by what I saw in many conventional medical practices and I wanted to be able to do more for patients. I went into naturopathic medical school thinking it was all about preventative medicine, but was pleasantly surprised that I was wrong. I found out that naturopathic medicine can actually provide deep healing for many conditions, and I continue to be amazed by how powerful this medicine really is.

I decided to go back to school for acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine because I wanted to offer more comprehensive healing options for my patients. Acupuncture has helped me with many of my own health concerns, and it has always been a form of medicine that I truly believe in.  I have found acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to be very effective in promoting deep and lasting healing in both myself and in my patients.
